When are taxes due?

2022 real estate first half taxes will be due February 8, 2023. 2022 real estate second half taxes will be due July 12, 2023. 2023 manufactured home first half taxes will be due February 8, 2023. 2023 manufactured home second half taxes will be due July 12, 2023.

How can I pay my taxes?

Taxes can be paid online. Please visit the How To Pay Online section of our website for a step-by-step guide. Please note there are fees for this service from the payment processor as follows: $1.00 Electronic Check (unlimited) – 2.35% Credit Card (minimum fee: $2.00) – 2.35% Debit Card (minimum fee: $2.00).

Taxes can be paid by phone at 1-833-440-8638. The same service fees apply as the online payment.

Checks can be mailed to the Treasurer’s office at 100 S. Madriver St. , Suite D, Bellefontaine OH 43311. Checks can be made out to “Logan County Treasurer”. Be sure to include the stub from your tax bill or include the parcel number on the check.

Taxpayers can stop by our office to pay taxes by cash, check, money order, or debit/credit card. The same card fees apply as the online payment.

Our office is located in downtown Bellefontaine at 100 S. Madriver Street, Suite D

What are your office hours?

Our normal office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

I did not receive a bill. What should I do?

Please email the Treasurer’s office at treasurer@logancountyohio.gov to request a pdf copy of your bill and/or change the address we mail your tax bill.

Is a post mark acceptable for establishing if I met the due date?

Yes, a post mark is acceptable.

What did I pay in real estate taxes last year?

The new Logan County Treasurer payment website has payments listed now. Select Payment History on the left hand side of the screen when looking at a parcel.

Do you take credit cards or electronic payments?

Yes, we do. Please visit the How To Pay Online section of our website for a step-by-step guide.

What do I owe?

Tax amounts owed can be found on the Logan County Treasurer payment website or email us at treasurer@logancountyohio.gov

Do you sell real property for taxes owed?

Yes, Properties are sold at Sheriffs sale only. The dollar amount is determined by the taxes owed in addition to court cost accrued on the property.

How do I change my tax bill mailing address?

This must be done in writing. Please complete our change of address form (PDF, 103KB) and email it to treasurer@logancountyohio.gov

Can I have property taxes deducted right from my bank account?

Yes. Please read carefully and fill out the form (PDF, 19KB) and mail to the Treasurer's Office. We need to have an original signature on file.

Why does the bill say these are taxes from last year?

We are always a year behind in billing for real estate. Taxes are on the property, and so follow the property, not the owner.
